Street Food

One of my favourite things about Korea is the street food. It's everywhere, all the time. A girl could never go hungry here! Here are some of the street foods you could eat here. The list is endless so this is just a sampler :)

Pig's feet. Nicely wrapped with some peppers.

Kimbap (similar to california rolls) and a variety of deep fried goodies. You can get anything from deep fried boiled eggs to sausages to vegetables to dumplings.

Deep fried fritters and donuts. This guy here is driving his motorcycle right on the sidewalk to pick up some snacks. Typical Korea.

Rice and peanut snacks. Commonly served as bar snacks.

Grilled chicken skewers.

Honey glazed sweet potatoes and green onion pancakes.

Fish shaped cakes filled with red bean paste and waffles.

Pick up truck selling all different types of nuts.

Sometimes there are little tables beside it so you could sit down. This stall was a little more elaborate, serving anything from pancakes to seafood (see the little tank?).

My absolute favourite. A chewy pastry filled with syrup, cinnamon and peanuts and deep fried to perfection.

On this particular day, on my way home from work, I chose to snack on some honey glazed sweet potatoes. Mm mm good!
