Day trip to ChunCheon

On our day off, a few coworkers and I decided to go on a short day trip. We took a 1.5-2 hour subway ride out to ChunCheon. This is where DakGalbi (like Joons!) was originally from.

Enjoying our DakGalbi. It was delicious!

Then we took a ferry across the lake.

And we arrived at a mountain.

Scattered all around the mountain are hundreds of rock towers. Koreans believe that if you build a tall tower and it doesn't fall down, your wishes will come true.

My coworkers built towers, wishing that Claudia will decide to live in Korea forever. (Can we say AWWWWWWWW!? )

We arrived at an old Buddhist temple.

Koreans have a lot of wishes to make. Wishes are written on the tiles of the roofs.

And also on the lanterns.

We ended the night with some roast duck. MmmMMm. Delicious!

A beautiful fall day. Perfect weather. Amazing company. Amazing food. I couldn't have asked for more.
