It's Stefan's birthday today, so we celebrated with him yesterday night (Saturday). There's this Korean indie band called "Standing Egg" that Stefan has loved for years from the States. And lucky for him, the standing egg concert was right on his birthday weekend! So that was our first stop. I really liked them. Got goosebumps listening to them play. Check them out!
We were with the ONLY two white people in the whole place and we were sitting in the second row. So of course we stood out. The singer said hiiiiiii to us from the stage and everyone looked at us. And said "oh sorry I can't speak English" (or something like that) and John screamed "oh, Korean's okay!" in Korean. We had Korean girls squealing over John's language skills. When the singer sang a cover of "Just the way you are", he said it was for us (the foreigners).
We all got autographs. Stefan even got a picture with the singer:).
Then we met up with some other good friends (and new friends) and drank the night away until 5:30am. In one place, they had refrigerated holes in the table to keep your drinks cold. Awesome!
I hope you had the happiest of birthdays, Stefan:)
